Curtis & Tanya - Sneak Peek

Well it is no surprise that I am really behind on blog posts.
I usually don't publish first looks, as I like to wait till the entire wedding is ready.
But I couldn't resist putting these up once they were ready to go.
You can check out their engagement post earlier this year.
We decided to go back to the barn since it provides so many shootable opportunities.  I was thrilled when Tanya decided to climb the ladder and it was Curtis's idea to pose in the upper window.  It all came together perfectly.  Yes, I realize there is a bit of a "barn" theme with these last two posts, but that is just how the landscape presented itself and we do live on the prairies after all.

June Wedding - Saskatoon Wedding Photographers

We headed out to Muenster on a very warm June day for this wedding.  The bride got ready at her family farm and I loved all the rustic touches. Her family is so great: we have photographed them before and they couldn't have been more accommodating. The church, St. Peter's, was amazing and beautifully restored.  A must see if you are ever heading out that way.  The college grounds also provided some rustic backdrops for the wedding party and the bride and groom.  My favorite location was the hotel in Muenster.  The burnt yellow color looks like a building you might find in a tropical Caribbean town.  The light and shadow was perfect.  This couple really focused on celebrating life, their families and their friends.  We had a great time being a part of it all.  The lucky pair headed off to Brazil for three weeks after their wedding!  We are totally jealous but wish them all the best.  Congrats!
