We spent the whole time at Mitchell's gardens (formerly Labatt's) and into Gabriel Dumont Park. It had been awhile since we photographed a wedding at this location. It proved very rewarding and versatile for the fall colours and with the added bonus of some beach shots too (which had been challenging earlier in the year with the high river levels).

September Wedding - Saskatoon Wedding Photographers
One of the last beautiful fall days of 2012. We had a great time with this couple: a relaxed and casual wedding party and session. They had brought lots of fun in the form of slurpees, comics, volley balls and nerf guns! They also had some really unique details like the bride's tartan on her bouquet, different vest colours for each groomsman, different coloured hairpieces for the bridesmaids and hand made (by the groom) pendants for the bridesmaids.

Curtis & Tanya - Sneak Peek
Well it is no surprise that I am really behind on blog posts.
I usually don't publish first looks, as I like to wait till the entire wedding is ready.
But I couldn't resist putting these up once they were ready to go.
You can check out their engagement post earlier this year.
We decided to go back to the barn since it provides so many shootable opportunities. I was thrilled when Tanya decided to climb the ladder and it was Curtis's idea to pose in the upper window. It all came together perfectly. Yes, I realize there is a bit of a "barn" theme with these last two posts, but that is just how the landscape presented itself and we do live on the prairies after all.
