Spiritwood Wedding

We love to get out of the city and explore a new location, especially if it is for a wedding.  There is always a special feeling about "home" and "place" when we shoot an out of town wedding.  The atmosphere is different in a small town where everyone knows everybody else!  This day was no exception and you could feel the sense of friendship and community celebration for the two.

Also we get the chance to capture some new backgrounds and places we have never photographed before.  The bride grew up on this farm just outside of town and provided a great natural and untouched space for the formals.  The couple brought out the quad for a few fun pics.

The weather tried to get the better of us, thankfully the rain held off until after the photos were all wrapped up.  But it did get a little cold for a summer wedding.  Thanks to the bride and groom who hung in there even once the strong winds began.  Since we needed shelter, we used the museum porch and it turned out to be a great location!

Spiritwood is a beautiful northern town and we wanted to show a little glimpse of their day.
Thanks again to S & B!  We had a great day, Cheers!

Grad Photography 2011

"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams".

Congrats to the class of 2011.
It is always so exciting to meet the new graduates and hear of their plans.  Some are off to travel and see the world, others are off to University or College and some are just going to take life as it comes.

Here is a sampling of the good looking (and smart) grads we shot this year!
